The NRF52840-QIAA-R is a high-performance, ultra-low power multiprotocol wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) from Nordic Semiconductor, the flagship of the nRF52 series. NRF52840-QIAA-R integrates a 2.4GHz multiprotocol transceiver, 64MHz ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller, 1MB Flash, 256KB RAM, and a rich set of peripherals into a single chip. Housed in an AQFN-73 (7×7mm) package, NRF52840-QIAA-R supports Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, ANT, IEEE 802.15.4, and Nordic's proprietary 2.4GHz protocols. Compared to traditional "MCU + wireless module" solutions, NRF52840-QIAA-R significantly reduces external components, PCB area, and improves system reliability. ARM Cortex-M4F Core @ 64MHz: NRF52840-QIAA-R features a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor running at up to 64MHz, with FPU and DSP instructions.
