The ESP32-S2FH4 is a highly integrated, low-power 2.4GHz Wi-Fi System-on-Chip (SoC) from Espressif Systems, featuring an Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 single-core processor running at up to 240MHz. Housed in a QFN-56-EP (7×7mm) package with 4MB embedded flash, the chip provides 320KB SRAM and 128KB ROM. Part of the ESP32-S2 series, the ESP32-S2FH4 is designed for IoT, mobile devices, wearables, smart home, and various other applications, offering industry-leading low-power performance and RF performance. The chip integrates a complete Wi-Fi subsystem compliant with IEEE 802.11b/g/n, supporting single-band 1T1R mode with data rates up to 150Mbps. On-chip memory includes 128KB ROM, 320KB SRAM, and 16KB RTC SRAM. The chip integrates 4MB flash and supports external flash and off-chip RAM expansion via SPI/QSPI/OSPI interfaces.
ESP32-S2FH4's Wi-Fi subsystem supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n with 20MHz and 40MHz bandwidth in the 2.4GHz band. It supports single-band 1T1R mode with data rates up to 150Mbps , and offers Station, SoftAP, and Promiscuous modes. Output power reaches up to 19.5dBm, with receiver sensitivity down to -97dBm.
The ESP32-S2FH4 provides up to 43 programmable GPIOs. The chip also integrates a TWAI® controller compatible with ISO 11898-1 (CAN Specification 2.0).
