CKS possesses a complete industrial chain covering IC design, mask making, wafer fabrication, packaging, testing, reliability, and application support. Its products are centered on FPGAs, CPUs, DSPs, SoCs, MCUs, and microsystems, spanning ten major categories and over 1,000 IC products. The company is a supplier of core chips and solutions for information systems and independent innovation, as well as a service provider of a trusted public manufacturing platform. CKS operates a 7nm–65nm IC design platform, an 8-inch wafer fabrication platform, a first-class 12-inch wafer-level 3D heterogeneous integration line, a QML-certified ceramic packaging line, and a CNAS national testing laboratory, building end-to-end independent capabilities from design to volume production.
CKS‘s core strengths lie in its “national team”-level full-chain quality control, its scaled product matrix led by the CKS32 MCU series, and its system-level breakthroughs for functional-safety scenarios such as automotive electronics.
In full-chain quality control, the CKS MCU brand has adhered to China’s only full-industrial-chain management model since its inception, maintaining independent control from design and mask making to wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing. This provides fundamental assurance for product quality and supply chain stability.
In the CKS32 32-bit MCU series, the MCU division has launched 8 major series and over 100 mass-produced models from Arm Cortex-M0 to M4 cores, achieving high hardware and software compatibility with STM32, supporting pin-to-pin compatibility and over 90% software compatibility, significantly shortening customer development cycles and reducing domestic substitution costs. The CKS32K14X automotive-grade MCU series is built on 40nm process technology, running at up to 122MHz, with 768KB–2MB Flash and 64KB–256KB SRAM, multiple CAN-FD channels, Ethernet, and rich analog peripherals, operating across -40°C to 125°C, with full-series on-chip ECC and hardware encryption. The series has completed application development and testing with dozens of Tier1 suppliers and achieved scaled mass production. CKS has obtained ISO 26262 ASIL-D functional safety process certification, and its 32-bit automotive-grade MCU series has further achieved ASIL-B product certification, establishing a complete safety system combining top-level process control with product-level implementation.
In the full-matrix chip portfolio, CKS has officially released a full matrix of chips and solutions covering intelligent computing, DSP, FPGA, MCU, bus interfaces, RF/microwave, signal chains, logic devices, and power management. In FPGAs, its subsidiary Zhongwei Yixin offers proprietary FPGA products including the JYX1000T and JYXLX350, with domestic high-performance FPGAs achieving benchmark compatibility with Xilinx VU/ZU series. In battery management analog front-end (BMS AFE) , CKS products won the Excellent Award in the Basic Hardware/Software category at the 2025 “Zhilu Award”, recognized for high precision, low power, full-process controllability, and supply chain stability, with applications extending from automotive electronics to energy storage, e-bikes, and industrial scenarios.
CKS solutions broadly cover automotive electronics, industrial control, communication equipment, consumer electronics, energy management, medical electronics, security, and IoT.
In automotive electronics, automotive-grade MCUs and BMS AFE chips have been deployed at scale in body control, battery management systems (BMS), T-Box, in-vehicle gateways, lighting control, instrument clusters, radar control, seat control, and airbag control. With the mission of solving “bottleneck” problems in automotive chips and safeguarding supply chain security, CKS continues to strengthen its IATF16949 and ISO26262 standards systems. In industrial control and energy, CKS32 MCUs are widely used in motor control, industrial automation, smart meters, inverters, PLCs, and power tools — applications demanding high safety and reliability. In communications and computing infrastructure, CKS FPGAs, DSPs, bus interfaces, and RF/microwave products provide independently controllable core chips for mobile communications, cloud computing, and information systems. In consumer electronics and IoT, CKS32F0/F1/F4 series MCUs cover smart home, security, new energy, handheld devices, and IoT terminals. Whether for automotive functional-safety scenarios or core computing and control in industrial and communications infrastructure, CKS delivers independently controllable, reliable chip solutions.
